Draft City Ballers aims to be a fully inclusive basketball competition where everyone has the opportunity to participate in an equal playing field.
Traditionally, basketball has been exclusively for people who met a specific physical criteria. However, our unique shooting competition opens up the world of basketball to people who are sharp shooters but been overlooked. We aim to make the competition inclusive to everyone regardless of age, gender, height or weight.
What?
Draft City Ballers is a fan based hybrid shooting competition designed in a circuit format where players can compete to see who is the best shooter.
Players compete to qualify to the championship round with the opportunity to win $10,000.
Our overall intention, is to have the top 25 teams compete annually against each other during the NBA All-Star Week for $100,000 prize!
How?
Draft City Ballers is the only shooting competition in the world that allows men and women to compete in the same team & for the same amount of prize money.
COMPETITION CRITERIA :
Limited to number of teams (2 players of the same gender only per team)
Teams compete in 8 drills to qualify for the championship round
Top 8 teams with the best overall score progress to the championship round
The 8 teams then compete in 7 drills to determine the overall winner
This will be a 3 day competition
